DARE TO BE DIFFERENT.
What is different?
It's simply means doing same thing others did in another way. 1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
There is no reason to doubt that it is youth that shapes the future of a society. If it's youth is diligent (focus) and hard working, then that society is bound to progress, but if it's youth is indolent (lazy) and insincere (not serious) ,then no one can save that society from downfall even the church.
Clearly, you and I are the youth of today Youth is the fountainhead of exuberance (liveliness), energy and dynamism. It is the youth of our society who is going to take forward the legacy (inherit) of our land and will help it gain new height of growth and achievements. But if we the youth becomes corrupt, the fate of our society is bound to be in darkness. Such a society cannot progress and is fated to face, steep downfall but it shall not be our portion Therefore,it is very important to tap the unlimited strength of our youth and give it a right direction. By effectively channelizing this energy in us,our society can attain limitless heights in a right direction. Here comes the question.
WHAT DIFFERENCE ARE YOU MAKING?
How to Make a Difference As a Christian Youth
If you want to make a difference as a Christian youth, you should remember that it's not just about going to church or reading the Bible (although those things definitely matter). You can make a difference by living a Christian life every single day. There are many ways you can give back and make a difference as a Christian youth.
1. Be a good example for other youth. As a Christian youth, you should lead by example. That means following Christian teachings. Everything you do in your life should reflect the goodness of God. Show positivity, smile, and do good works. Don’t talk behind other people. Be kind to all people, including those who aren’t popular. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Walk the walk, don’t just talk the talk.
2.Be patient and kind.
If people can't tell you're a Christian by your actions and words, you're doing it wrong. You need to live every single day with the right attitude
3.Keep studying your faith. Continue to study and learn about your faith as you get older. Know that even adults still work on the tough questions.
Come to youth group with a heart that wants to learn. People will notice a change in your group. Start answering questions and step out of your comfort zone. Once you step out of your comfort zone, others will start to step out of theirs. (i.e to wake up)
4.Read Your Bible Pray Every Day Or You’ll Shrink (become smaller)
And, since you are the youth of today,as your brother, I am responsible in shaping your future and giving you the right direction. However,I can only help you in selecting the right path and it is you and only you who will have to walk on that path. And if you don't perform well now, it may seriously affect you and society in the near future.
So sincerely work towards shaping your future, making it bright and beautiful because it is your bright future that will pave the way for the future growth of our society. Your sacrifice in service to God will not go waste and will certainly pay off in the days to come. Nurture your youth with diligence, sincerity and hard work. The challenges you are facing today shall be seen no more. But it is extremely important that you grow really serious toward your goals as with the passing time you are getting older. Therefore,my advice for today is never lay waste your youth and use it to your optimum capacity. Irrespective of what you want to become in life--a doctor, engineer, teacher etc. You should never shirk away from putting your best of efforts in anything you do. I believe you are able to relate with what I am saying and will remember this words forever.
In the end,I just want to give my best wishes to all of you in Christ Jesus, never to get discourage in life with any impediments that you come across, face them boldly and wisely.
Thank You.
